A 1-0 defeat put paid to the Blues’ record winning run at a freezing St Andrews against their promotion rivals.

Sub Matt Godden, who was linked with a move to Fratton Park last summer, got the only goal of the game as Kenny Jackett’s men fell asleep from a throw-in the 84th minute.

Harrison felt his side were punished in a game for the mistake in a game which they had the better of.

He said ‘We were on top for most of the game but a little lapse in concentration cost us.

‘But that was the first lost in God knows how long.

‘It’s a blip. They will happen and tonight we had one. Luckily it was now and not in two months’ time.’
