Instead, Harrison replaces Oli Hawkins among the substitutes, with Brett Pitman retaining his place on the bench.

There are, however, two changes to the starting XI for Jackett’s side, who can tonight break into League One's top three for the first time this season.

James Bolton comes in for Ross McCrorie at right-back, while Cameron McGeehan replaces Ben Close in midfield.

Meanwhile, Lee Brown keeps his place ahead of Steve Seddon at left-back.

Pompey (4-2-3-1): Bass, Bolton, Burgess, Raggett, Seddon, Naylor, McGeehan, Williams, Cannon, Curtis, Marquis.

Subs: MacGillivray, McCrorie, Seddon, Pitman, Harness, Harrison, Close.
