The football authorities are this morning meeting and The News understands the outcome is expected to be a suspension of all games until the end of March.

Pompey are yet to officially cancel tomorrow’s meeting with Accrington, despite their opponents announcing the match is off and the Blues players are self-isolating, after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta tested positive for Covid-19.

The expectation, however, is that will almost certainly be the outcome with a suspension likely to be confirmed at some point today.
