Ex-Portsmouth and Wigan winger reportedly wanted by Celtic, Millwall and Cardiff

According to Mail Online, the winger is wanted by Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, along with Championship duo Cardiff and Millwall.

Interest in a number of Latics players has reportedly mounted after the club entered administration earlier this month.

Lowe’s supposedly one who’s attracted admirers just a year after leaving Fratton Park.

The former Hampton & Richmond man completed his move to the DW Stadium from the Blues last summer following a protracted transfer saga.

He joined Wigan for a fee in excess of £2m to reunite with Paul Cook – the man that brought him to Pompey from non-league in January 2017.

Lowe’s scored five goals in 46 appearances for the Latics and has been in blistering form since the restart of the campaign, helping them steer clear of the relegation zone.

In Cook’s side’s 8-0 demolition of Hull on Tuesday, the 25-year-old scored one and assisted three goals.

However, with Wigan in administration – as well as facing a 12-point deduction that could relegate them to League One – clubs are reportedly hovering and looking to take advantage of their situation.

Mail Online reports that Lowe is wanted by Celtic, who are aiming for their 10th successive Scottish Premiership title in the 2020-21 season.

Millwall had bids turned down for Lowe last summer and are supposedly set to renew their interest.

Neil Harris was manager of the Lions at the time. He has since taken charge of Cardiff and remains an admirer of the ex-Barnet wide man.

In recent years, Pompey have received sell-on windfalls from former players who have subsequently moved elsewhere.
