Indeed, Lowe is proving to be one of the best performers in the Championship at this moment in time.

Lowe fired a double in Swansea's 2-1 victory over promotion rivals Watford on Saturday.

But it was the celebration for his first effort that has grabbed plenty of attention from football fans up and down the country on social media.

Watford keeper Ben Foster places a GoPro camera inside the goal of every game and uploads the footage onto his Youtube channel The Cycling GK.

After finding the back of the net with a fine, curling right-footed shot on 43 minutes, Lowe – who scored 30 goals in 119 appearances for Pompey before leaving for Wigan in July 2019 – ran up to the camera and pointed towards it.

He then notched Swansea's winner in the 67th minute with a close-range header to ensure they stayed second in the table.

Speaking after the win, Lowe predicted Foster would cut the footage out of his video.

'Before the game, one of the boys was talking about Ben Foster's YouTube channel,’ he said.

'A lot of the boys are fans of it, watch it, and say it's a good laugh.

'I said “If I score today I'm going to try to make it on his next video”. That was the story (behind the celebration) but he'll probably crop it out to be fair. Hopefully, I make it.'

To his credit, Foster's been a good sport and Lowe has made the final cut of the latest Youtube upload.

The former Manchester United stopper saw the funny side and made quipped on Twitter about it.

Foster wrote: 'That feeling when you are deciding whether to include the Jamal Lowe celebration in your next YouTube video.’
