Extent of Lee Brown's injury revealed following surprise late omission in Portsmouth win at Lincoln

The Pompey left-back was withdrawn from the Pompey starting XI at Lincoln after feeling the issue in the warm-up tonight.

Cam Pring came into the side at Sincil Bank with Brown due to undergo a scan to confirm the extent of the injury.

Blues assistant Joe Gallen said: ‘It was a late shout with Cam coming in for Lee.

‘I thought Cam played well and has done for us this season.

‘Lee looks like he picked up a hamstring injury in the warm-up.

‘He’ll have a scan and we’ll look at the grading system but it looks like a couple of weeks.’
