However, fans will notice little change, with both players deciding to stick with the number they previously sported.

Brown, who has worn the number three jersey since his arrival in the summer of 2018, has kept faith in that shirt after signing a new two-year deal with the Blues.

And the same applies to Raggett, who will have 20 on his back when the new term commences on September 12.

He wore that number during his season-long from Norwich – and is sticking by it after making a move to Fratton Park on a permanent basis.

The number 2 jersey last worn by Anton Walkes remains up for grabs – as is the number 6 shirt that was previously occupied by Christian Burgess.

The 2020-21 squad number list, which was initially announced last week, sees changes for Ben Close (8), John Marquis (9) and Ellis Harrison (10).

At present, 22 players have been allocated squad numbers for the forthcoming season.

The list will be submitted to the EFL ahead of the start of the new League One campaign.
