Sean Raggett retains is place in the centre of defence, despite Rasmus Nicolaisen pushing him all the way.

Meanwhile, Bryn Morris also keeps his 100-per-cent start record in the league as he lines up alongside Tom Naylor in the Pompey engine room.

Here’s how fans on Twitter have reacted to the team news as the Blues go in search of their maiden League One home win of the season.

@carlofooty: Morris againnn?.. I’d have thought Mnoga would at least be on bench and as for Rasmus Nicolaisen.. I’m flabbergasted he’s not starting!

@ChrisDodd12: Why are people surprised about Nicolaisen not starting?

Do people honestly think Jackett plays players that he signs?

He hasn’t bothered before, why would he start now? He’ll warm the bench until January, then he’ll be called back.

@JasperD02259160: Rasmus will be recalled then, thanks Ken.

@BamfordDean: So it doesn’t matter how well Nicolaisen, Pring and Close did in the week, none of them start in the league, all 3 of them should start in my opinion.

@LDW1891: Why Brown? Why Morris? Why no Mnoga? Bizarre.

@FredHorn: Back to the same old line up then.

@JackLJYeats: Rasmus in for raggett and close or cannon in for Morris.

@Mogerref: How does Morris still get to start?

@OceanPCs: At the end of each match they reset the Jackett-bot, he remembers nothing, he learns nothing, he repeats the same mistakes......
