Former Portsmouth, Peterborough and Hibernian-linked winger joins Luton

According to Edinburgh Live, the Blues were keeping tabs on the 26-year-old when his Accrington contract earlier this summer.

League One rivals Peterborough and Scottish Premiership outfit Hibernian were also reportedly interested.

Pompey boss Kenny Jackett shot down rumours when asked whether he was keen on Stanley's talisman.

He admitted he was already well stocked in the right-wing department with Marcus Harness and Ryan Williams as options.

Clark turned down fresh terms at Accrington and has now joined Championship side Luton on a free transfer.

Hatters boss Nathan Jones said: ‘We are delighted to get Jordan. He’s a player that we’ve thought highly about for a long, long time.

‘He’s a creative player, someone who has a real hunger to do well and from the moment that I met him, I knew that he’d be an excellent Luton player.

‘He’s come from a very attacking Accrington side and he’s a very adaptable, creative footballer who has a great work ethic, very athletic – so he ticks a lot of boxes on becoming a Luton Town player.’
