Tough place to come and get a result and so it proved, @Pompey 2 @shrewsweb 0. My favourite away day this, so off out to sample the delights of some of Pompey’s finest boozers

@bowbrookshrew

Fantastic (wet and windy) win today @Pompey but credit to the Shrewsbury fans - didn’t let up the whole game even after going behind #Salop @shrewsweb PUP

Thought #salop gave #Pompey plenty of problems and spurred Jackett into a double sub which changed the game. Continue with same approach and you’ll win soon.

@W_Chitty

Disappointing result. If you take the game in isolation then #Salop played well for an hour against #Pompey who’re unbeaten in the league at home.

Well done to the 319 travelling fans and safe journey home through storm Dennis

@FootieNick

Jackett won that game with his subs. Marquis for Evans was a must but even I questioned McRorie for Bolton. Both paid off though against a defensively solid Shrewsbury team #Pompey

#pompey #thankyou #pleaseshare To the guy in the Northstand that paid for my girls drinks as they only had a note that the kiosk wouldn’t take. We can’t thank you enough. The girls would like to thank you if you can DM Me xx

@Sarah_Merrix

Just a good solid L1 win that. Ground it out. Naylor and McGeehan give us such a better platform. And Sean Raggett what have you become? It’s like Carl Dickinson turning into Roberto Carlos before your very eyes #pompey

@adarkelimited

Alex Bass is in the team on merit. He made at least four excellent saves yesterday, to keep us in the game. Nobody should underestimate his contribution to our victory.

@sophiasogood

Great result. Dominant performance. Impressed with the team again. Decent subs made. Both strikers scored. Marquis finally got his Fratton End goal. Everything feels good right now

Our pitch is outstanding btw. It’s in brilliant condition compared to most. Any game I’ve watched recently excluding most premier league grounds their pitches have looked a state, ours looks brilliant considering the weather we’ve been having as well. Fair play
