We’re waiting to see if supporters are allowed into this match, while the potential cancellation of Wembley in the Leasing.com Trophy would be a disaster.

If the authorities have to initiate behind-closed-doors matches, then so be it. It would be such a shame, but I don’t know what the answer is.

This represents a must-win fixture for Pompey, we need to be beating Accrington at home if we are to earn automatic promotion.

Considering our away form is so poor, we have to win all remaining Fratton Park matches, then hope to pick up some points on the road.

I was actually happy with a draw against Fleetwood, they are a good side, although once we went 2-1 up I thought we’d be safe. Unfortunately, we’ve been wobbly at the back without Christian Burgess.

Ross McCrorie has been great going forward, but weakens us defensively down the right-hand side, with Ryan Williams putting in so much work to cover that flank.

James Bolton is a lot more solid and gets my nod to return at right-back and start against Accrington, with Burgess back from suspension.

I’ve not been overly enamoured with Cameron McGeehan, he has been quite solid but I’ve been waiting for him to produce something spectacular, while Tom Naylor has looked off the pace in the last four matches.

Up front, I’ve a feeling John Marquis might be the guy for the job, although it’s a toss up between him and Ellis Harrison.

I don’t see Marquis in the number 10 role, he hasn’t quite got the passing ability, he plays some bizarre passes across the park to suddenly put you on the back foot again. I’ll play him against Accrington, though.

I think we can win promotion, but then again I’m more of a happy clappy than negative ninny! Although I do have a moan, we must stick together and make a difference.

Personally, I thought the boos after the Fleetwood draw were terrible, I was hoping they were aimed at the referee and Joey Barton rather the players. Our lads didn’t deserve that reception.

It’s going to be a scrap to go up, but fingers crossed we can make it. However, I feel it will more likely be the play-offs, unless we rediscover that drive we showed in 2016-17.

Pompey (4-2-3-1): Bass, Bolton Burgess, Raggett, Seddon, McGeehan, Naylor, Williams, Harness, Curtis, Marquis.
