Portsmouth are ready to tackle their first season back in the Championship after their League One title win and promotion. Their first appearance in the 2024/25 season will be a trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds United, who will be pushing to return to the Premier League after falling agonisingly short in the play-off final in May.
As we head into the new season, fans can look forward to plenty of Pompey action shown live on TV. Sky Sports is launching the broadcaster Sky Sports+, which is dedicated to vastly increasing the amount of live fixtures available to watch throughout the season.
The platform guarantees each club in the EFL will have at least 20 games shown and a total of 186 matches will be televised live between the start of the season and January 6th. This is more than half of the overall 328 games due to be broadcast across the 2024/25 campaign.
This marks the first time that every single opening weekend game across the EFL Championship, League One and League Two divisions will be streamed live on either Sky Sports+ or a main Sky Sports flagship channel. Take a look below at which Portsmouth games are due to be shown between now and the start of the new year, and how they compare to their rivals.
