Jack Whatmough did not feature after travelling with the team, however, as he was displaying coronavirus symptoms.

The centre-back underwent a test which returned positive.

After having the entire squad tested, a further four members of Kenny Jackett's side had contracted the virus.

Ryan Williams is also self-isolating in accordance with government guidelines after sharing a hotel room with Whatmough at Hull.

As a result, the Blues cancelled their game with Swindon on Boxing Day along with the visit to Bristol Rovers three days later.

Sunderland, Peterborough and Ipswich all cancelled upcoming games, while Bristol Rovers axed their previous two matches.
