It means the friendly with the Championship club will no longer take place.

Provisionally, Carabao Cup ties are to take place on the weekend of September 5-6, however the clubs mutually agreed to bring the match forward.

Meanwhile, Pompey will face Colchester in the EFL Trophy in the week commencing September 7.

As part of the group stages, they are also scheduled to visit Southend (week commencing October 5) and West Ham under-21s (week commencing November 9).
