Kenny Jackett’s side will be aiming for a giant killing against Mikael Arteta’s men in front of what will almost certainly be a sold-out PO4 crowd.

And while they’ll be heavy underdogs, Gallen is looking forward to the Blues pitting their wits against the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

The assistant manager: ‘It'll be a brilliant event a Premier League team coming to Fratton Park and we are excited with the draw.

‘The thing to be said is that there is a big jump in English football between the leagues.

‘We’re coming up against a massive step-up in class and hopefully we can do ourselves justice on the night.

Arsenal are one of the superpowers of English football and it will be fantastic to get such a big team down to Fratton Park.

‘We look forward to it and on the night, we hope we can do ourselves justice, but it’s going to be a tall order.

‘A home tie is always good for us. There is a lot of travelling in this league and it’s great to get a home tie.’

Pompey have defeated Harrogate, Altrincham, Fleetwood and Barnsley in the FA Cup so far.
