Kenny Jackett makes three Portsmouth changes at Oxford - but no Tom Naylor
Kenny Jackett has made three changes for Pompey’s play-off semi-final second leg at Oxford United.
However, there’s once again no place for club captain Tom Naylor in the starting XI.
Instead, the Blues boss has handed recalls to Steve Seddon, James Bolton and Ryan Williams for this evening’s Kassam Stadium encounter.
They come in for Lee Brown, Ross McCrorie and Andy Cannon, while retaining his favoured 4-2-3-1 system.
That signals the changing of both full-backs who were on duty in Friday’s 1-1 draw at Fratton Park.
In addition, the selection of Williams allows Harness to come inside into the number 10 role he performed in during the second half of that fixture.
That means Williams will occupy the right flank at the ground where he was once a player.
Christian Burgess is given captaincy honours on what could be his farewell Pompey outing should they lose.
Once again there is no place for Ben Close in the 20-man squad, while Brett Pitman and Jack Whatmough are currently not being considered.
Pompey: Bass, Bolton, Burgess, Raggett, Seddon, Morris, McGeehan, Williams, Harness, Curtis, Harrison.
Subs: MacGillivray, McCrorie, Downing, Brown, Naylor, Hawkins, Marquis, Cannon, Evans.
