Both players will travel with the Blues for the key game in the battle for promotion despite recent concerns over their fitness.

Striker Harrison was forced off after 24 minutes of Tuesday night’s EFL Trophy semi-final victory over Exeter with a dead leg.

Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Cannon has missed the past four games because of a glute problem picked up ahead of the trip to Tranmere.

However, in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Cod Army fixture, manager Kenny Jackett said he anticipates both players being available for selection.

The Pompey boss said: ‘We’ve had two sort of grey areas if you like – Ellis Harrison and Andy Cannon this week.

‘But as we are now, Thursday morning, I’m expecting both of them to be fit.

‘And we have no other injury concerns.’
