Key men announced for Portsmouth's EFL Trophy final against Salford at Wembley

The Blues make their Wembley return when they defend the silverware on Sunday, April 5 (3pm kick-off).

And Carl Boyeson will be in charge of the clash at the national stadium.

The East Yorkshire-based referee will be joined by assistants Michael Webb and Craig Taylor, while Charles Breakspear has been named fourth official and George Byrne as reserve assistant referee.

Boyeson has taken charge of 23 games this season, dishing out 65 yellow cards and five reds.

He hasn't been in the middle of a Pompey game since a 3-1 defeat to Gillingham at Fratton Park during the 2017-18 campaign. Blues defender Christian Burgess was the only player to go into the book that day.
