Portsmouth’s latest result in their Championship season saw high-flyers Sunderland end their unbeaten streak. Despite not yet picking up a win, Pompey had recorded three consecutive draws to start their campaign, including their thrilling six-goal opener against Leeds United.

Pompey are currently 18th in the table on three points, ahead of Hull City, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End on goal difference. Meanwhile, Plymouth Argyle, Luton Town and Cardiff City occupy the bottom three places.
