Today marks the 15th anniversary of the Blues' famous 4-1 victory over south-coast rivals Southampton.

In an afternoon to remember at Fratton Park, Lualua struck twice while Yakubu and Arjan de Zeeuw were also on target for Alain Perrin’s men.

It’s right up there with many fans' favourite Pompey game, as it left Southampton bottom of the Premiership - where they'd remain and suffer relegation – while the Blues ensured they secured their status in the top flight.

The Fratton faithful have vivid memories of the success, along with those involved.

And Lualua toasted the victory on Twitter, heaping praise on central-midfield duo Gary O’Neil and Richard Hughes.

He wrote: What a day that was we made it a blue day for our city. A great game with great players. @Gazoneil @Rich22Hughes run the show period! #playuppompey @Pompey.’
