'Not good enough... absolutely dreadful.. another lifeless performance' - Portsmouth fans react to 1-0 defeat to Doncaster Rovers

Pompey fans on social media have been expressing their anger after the Blues succumbed to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Doncaster Rovers.

After a toothless performance from the home side, it was Reece James’ 79th-minute strike that won it for Darren Moore’s side – an effort that condemned Pompey to their second home defeat of the season.

It now leaves Kenny Jackett’s outfit 10th in the table with eight points from their first six games of the season.

And they’re stats that are nowhere near impressing the Fratton faithful.

Here’s a selection of the views shared on Twitter after today’s final whistle.

@_dariogonzalo: Every season is the same. Two defeats, one victory, two defeats and so on. Every game we win keeps KJ from being talked about and he will never leave, but we will never move up.

@Jake_PFC: He has to go, nothing is going to change, we haven’t even played a good side yet and we’ve continuously been outclassed.

@hunshead: Get some of the youth players we have out on loan in

They'll do a better job than these do called strikers

We need to do something immediately

Marquis is so poor

Harrison is not an out and out striker he needs help up top.

@beiderbecks: He really has to go. False economy. Doing more damage each week.

@johnhorneartist: Very disappointed lads, you should have won that, even as this was played at home.

Anyway always next game, please get a win in the next game.

Come on Pompey. Up the Blues. You should have won this lads.

@gar78: Kenny mate, if you're reading this please do the honourable thing and resign. You've lost it fella.

@georgestern2: Hate to say it, never like seeing a manager get sacked but the players aren’t playing for him.

There is no fire about Portsmouth this season. Time to act.

@PompskiRees: It’s just not good enough. We are going backwards and he’s lost the fans & the dressing room. Tim

@pompeyjacques: I'm one of the most positive #pompey fans around, but deary me, absolutely dreadful. (AGAIN!)

@PFC1977: So so poor again the gap between the forwards & everyone else is so big & so easy for the opposition. So frustrating.

@petestaxi: Yet another lifeless performance.
