Okay, there were positives but let's be real - this Portsmouth side isn't good enough for automatic promotion

Pompey quickly need to define the fine margins and overcome them. Today was a fine margins game, that’s what separates 2nd from 3rd, 6th from 7th after 46 games. Proved they can be the best of the rest, but the best of the best still eludes this team on a regular basis.

Standard Jackett side good enough to be around the play offs but nowhere good enough for promotion. Completely outplayed by a better side Jackett has to go.

Unlike previous losses this season, there were at least some positives today. We dictated the game for long periods, albeit without testing their goalie. Time to dust off and get on another run. Tactical change at half time was odd - I thought we looked quite bright first half

Disappointed but certainly the best team we’ve played so far! Hope Jack’s okay. Thought ref was terrible should have been a sending off! Fans were definitely missed today!

@WELLS35

We should have won that lads, a bit disappointed. Anyway still more games to go. Good luck with your next game Pompey. Come on Pompey. Up the Blues.

Lee Bowyer a million miles ahead of Kenny. Exactly the type of manager this talented squad is crying out for. Can’t wait to be excited to watch the boys in blue again. Up the Blues and #JackettOut

The Jackett cycle. Start the season awfully, gets a few flukey results to save himself, manages to scrape playoffs, lose in the first game of playoffs, repeat next season

Yanks say we’re moving forward we’ve been in league 1 for too long.

@J_Tate1898

Gotta be scoring in games like that, so much possession and can’t make a proper chance after the first 15 minutes

@ffslluke

Charlton miles better than us and will be close to the top two at the end of the season- they have lots of good experienced players that have played at a high level. Pompey well beaten. No complaints

Strange decision to revert back to a 451 after a decent first half. Chalton are a good team though who have our number. We are missing the fans at Fratton Park big time, would love to see a bit of passion from the manager especially when the ref doesn't book leg breaking tackles.
