Oli Hawkins joins League One promotion rivals Ipswich after Portsmouth departure
OIi Hawkins has completed a switch to Ipswich Town.
The striker has signed a two-year deal with a 12-month option at Portman Road.
That means Hawkins will return to Pompey for the upcoming season to face his former side.
In total, the 28-year-old scored 18 goals in 96 appearances during his three years at Fratton Park, after arriving from Dagenham & Redbridge for an undisclosed fee in August 2017.

However, Hawkins was released by the Blues following their League One play-off semi-final defeat to Oxford United last month.
By his own admission, the ex-Hemel Hempstead man was surprised he wasn’t offered a new deal by Kenny Jackett.
Now he's moved to League One promotion rivals Ipswich ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Hawkins was announced as part of a triple swoop, with defender Stephen Ward and keeper David Cornell also joining the Tractor Boys.
