After all, the Spurs youngster has moved to Fratton Park on loan having made only two first-team appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side.

The Fratton faithful should take note of the glowing reference the Tottenham boss provided the 19-year-old following those appearances against Ludogorets in the Europa League and more recently Marine in the FA Cup.

But perhaps an even better barometer of the player’s capabilities is Twitter, where no-one is shy in offering their opinion.
