Brett Pitman, Lee Brown and Oli Hawkins are also on the list.

The risk of injury has already seen Charlton striker Lyle Taylor declare he will not play when the Championship resumes as he does not want to get injured and scupper ‘a life-changing move’ away from the Addicks.

‘Generally, there has been some excitement in the squad about getting back playing.

‘It's a big one for us and we have an opportunity to be successful this season.

‘We haven't had any information from any of the players not wanting to play and we have been in constant dialogue with them.

‘Regarding Lyle Taylor, every situation is individual and I say that within my squad.

‘It is an individual situation and you have to deal with each one separately.’
