Do you agree with how Blues reporter Jordan Cross saw the performances of John Mousinho’s men?

Didn’t stop running as defender offered a lively presence in high-octane Pompey start, but then beaten far too easily by Ben Wilmot for Stoke’s first goal. Didn’t let that moment perturb him as left-back popped up with key third goal. | National World

Would have wanted to do better with early gilt-edged chance from Ritchie corner and then wasteful in possession with signs of ring rustiness still evident. Sturdied things up after third goal and another step towards full fitness. Photo: Matt McNulty

Eyes are on the West Ham loanee when it comes to his future but work-rate showed he’s still up for Pompey cause. Lost his way slightly when Stoke got on top centrally in their best moments, but then intelligently took the steam out of the game after break as he took control. | National World
