The picture shows Taylor grabbing Curtis by the genitals, an image which could prompt action against the Oxford man.

At the weekend, Preston's Darnell Fisher was captured carrying out a similar act on Sheffield Wednesday's Callum Paterson during their Championship encounter.

Fisher has since been charged by the FA.

Having seen the picture of Curtis being grabbed by Taylor, the Irishman’s mum, Marie, Tweeted: ‘So Ronan got yellow card I’m telling you it would have been red if it was me fair play son you didn’t retaliate cause that’s what he wanted Pompey with out him for how long I’m not sure and he’s just didn’t get it proud off you.’
