'Pay whatever Birmingham want for Seddon... winning ugly is still winning' - Portsmouth fans react to win against Rochdale
Pompey fans have been having their say on the Blues’ 3-0 win against Rochdale.
The victory sends Kenny Jackett’s side up to third in the table.
Moreover, the result has got Pompey supporters hoping a deal is in place to sign up Steve Seddon, after the Birmingham loanee’s superb left-footed strike in the win against Dale.
Here’s what fans on social medis had to say…
@KieranBak: Sign him (Seddon) up now. Pay whatever Birmingham want.
Don’t let them realise how good he is and then miss out.
Absolute wand of a left foot.
Harry Wood: That's ten wins in a row now, credit to you and the boys Jackett for this incredible milestone this season, PUP!
@TylerRt44: All the 3s at Fortress Fratton! Can we play the rest of the season at home!
Cath Absolom: Now up to 3rd, & Fleetwood's game at Tranmere already called off tomorrow! So that really helps as well, doesn't it?!
@RussellRussjm: 3-0 winning ugly is still winning. 3 points and good changes from KJ.
Burgess yellow is bad news with two horrible league games coming up.
John Karl: Steve Seddon’s goal was a game changer and one heck of a strike. Good substitutes to win the game comfortably.
David West: Great result tonight, well done boys.
@PompeyPhil2: Is he (Seddon) signed up yet?
Makes a huge difference to our attack down the left.
Lee Cooke: Another win! End of! Well done Portsmouth.
@HollieAgombar: Was a rocket.
Paul White: Backed Kenny all season. Believe he will take us up this season
