Portsmouth 2 Colchester 0: REACTION as Marcus Harness' doubles deliver Blues deserved win

Pompey are in action on their own patch for the first time since facing Oxford in the League One play-offs in July.

The Blues host League Two outfit Colchester in their opening match of the EFL Trophy.

Kenny Jackett’s side are still holders of the competition, beating Sunderland in the final at Wembley in 2019.

And Pompey have another trip to the national stadium pending, with a meeting against Salford in the 2019-20 season final to be scheduled when supporters are allowed back in stadia.
