Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett updates on the extent of Jack Whatmough's injury after he's forced off in Charlton defeat
Pompey are waiting to find out the extent of the injury which forced Jack Whatmough off against Charlton.
The Blues defender was withdrawn at the break with a hamstring injury against the Addicks in the 2-0 defeat.
The injury is certain to keep the defender out of Tuesday’s trip to Lincoln.
But Pompey boss Kenny Jackett is hopeful the issue isn’t too serious.
He said: ‘Jack felt his hamstring slightly.
‘It doesn’t seem too bad but it was enough to come off.
‘How bad is it we don’t know, but Tuesday is certainly out of the equation.
‘He won’t be playing a few days later with something like that.’
