Portsmouth boss reveals reason for medical procedure and recovery time
Kenny Jackett has stated he will need to step back from Pompey managerial duties for an operation on his forearm.
And the Blues boss believes he will need two weeks’ recovery from when he goes into hospital on Thursday.
Jackett has been speaking this afternoon and told BBC’s Andy Moon the operation relates to a mole on his arm.
Speaking to the club’s official Twitter account, the man who arrived in 2017 stated he’s positive the issue will not prove significant.
He said: ‘I need an operation on my forearm.
‘They’re expecting I will need two weeks recovery after that operation.
‘It’s a precautionary one and in terms of the Covid protocol it shows you how difficult things are at the moment.
‘I’m really not anticipating not being out any length of time or having any problems.'
