Portsmouth defender lets Jose Mourinho explain why he won't share thoughts on controversial booking that earned him a two-game ban

But Christian Burgess’ yellow card he was issued during Pompey’s win over Rochdale means he must serve a two-match suspension.

The centre-back was given a caution in the 64th minute of last night’s 3-0 victory.

Burgess went on to net the Blues’ third goal with an 84th-minute header, as well as having an effort saved for Ryan Williams to slam home the opener on the stroke of half-time.

The 28-year-old celebrated the win on Twitter – although he remained coy on the booking.

Instead, Burgess used an old clip of Jose Mourinho to vicariously sum up what’d be the ramifications if he was to express his true feelings.

Burgess tweeted: ‘Goal, assist & a clean sheet #PUP Regarding the yellow...’

In the video below the post, Spurs boss Mourinho says: ‘If I speak, I am in big trouble, in big trouble and I don't want to be in big trouble.’
