It’s been suggested a 3-4-3 formation might be used, with Ryan Williams playing as left-wing-back.

However, fans have their own theories, too.

He’s a selection of the views shared on Twitter...

@pepe_lacey: Still trying to figure out what sort of formation this might be and who would start where.

At first glance I thought it was Big Sean up top but anything can happen it’s Pompey what do we expect.

@CheeesyChips: This is either gonna go really well or extremely badly.

@Mourby: I am going to throw a wild guess out. Naylor will be CB with Rasmus LB.

@JAudley89: Naylor as CBs with Johnson & I assume Harness as the Wing Backs?

@chimer1898: 3-4-3? Or is Raggett our new striker?

@JAudley89: I’m reading this as Ramsus left back with Naylor, Ragget as CBs with Close & Byers in centre midfield?!?!

Only other guess is Harness & Johnson wing backs with Naylor, Raggett & Rasmus as the CBs?!??

@MarkRoser9: No Brown not even on bench gutted.

Who is left back?3 at back I'm guessing?

Anyway must must must win and by a few !! No excuses come on lads.

@Nineteen862: Got to be 3-5-2 maybe?

Back 3 maybe with Naylor ?

Johnson part of the 3? With harness and Williams wing backs?

Raggett up front lol who knows.

I reckon Naylor is Cb and Nicolaisen is Lb. Byers to play next to close.
