Paraguayan handed first Portsmouth start as Blues boss forced into Charlton changes with 13 players injured
John Mousinho makes two changes to the side which lost to Sheffield United
Gustavo Caballero has been handed his first start in English football for tonight’s trip to Charlton.
While Marlon Pack gets his first Pompey start of 2026, with injuries once again forcing John Mousinho into team changes.

With Andre Dozzell absent through the ankle problem he sustained against Sheffield United on Saturday, Pack returns to the Blues’ line-up at Charlton tonight.
It represents the skipper’s first start since December 29 - which was also against the Addicks in that late, late Minhyeok Yang-inspired win.
Pack is one of two changes for Pompey, with Caballero replacing Adrian Segecic on the right wing for his full Pompey debut.
The Paraguayan under-23 international wasn’t even used off the bench in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to the Blades.
However, with Segecic struggling with a dead leg, Caballero comes into Mousinho’s team. Segecic, though, is still named among the substitutes at The Valley.

Also included on the bench is Tayo Singerr, with Mousinho currently without 13 members of his first-team squad through injury.
Those presently unavailable for the Blues are Dozzell, Conor Chaplin, Aji Alese, Keshi Anderson, Conor Shaughnessy, Harvey Blair, Mark Kosznovszky, Hayden Matthews, Franco Umeh, Josh Murphy, Florian Bianchini, Thomas Waddingham and Josh Knight.
Pompey: Schmid, Devlin, Poole, Ogilvie, Swanson, Pack, Adams, Caballero, Swift, Alli, Bishop.
Subs: Bursik, Williams, Le Roux, Bowat, Segecic, Singerr, Brown, Kirk, Dia.
