Welcome to our live January transfer window deadline day blog

Today is the last day of trading for clubs keen to bolster their ranks for the final three months of the season.

And with Pompey still having work to do in the final hours, it promises to be a manic Monday at Fratton Park.

Rumours continue to circulate, potential new signings have been spotted dining out in the city, while injury issues continue to impact the business the Blues have in mind.

It’s one of those days when anything can happen, surprises are never that far away, and patience will be needed as the day’s key players work endlessly behind the scenes to get everything they’ve been working hard on in place.

The deadline is 7pm tonight - so brace yourselves in and enjoy the ride courtesy of our live deadline day blog, where you’re guranteed to have all the information you need at the click of a button.
