Do you agree with the ratings from Blues reporter Jordan Cross from Fratton Park, in the bleak defeat against Gerhard Struber’s side?
5. Regan Poole 4
Uncharacteristically poor from leading figure in first half. Got away with early swipe at Scott Twine, with Bristol City attacker already on the way down in the box. Then static for danger man’s header. More dominant after break with blocks and clearing headers. Photo: Graham Hunt
6. Zak Swanson 5
Tried to raise the tempo. Turned over possession to visitors in moment where mood turned after 20 minutes, but was responded by pressing with purpose as others laboured. Critical last-ditch tackle on Scott Twine after restart and flew into tackles as he showed commitment others lacked. | Paul Phelan/ProSportsImages
7. Marlon Pack 4
Restored to bring midfield order, but was overran as he tried to raise tempo. Examples of quality in possession but was forced deep by visitors. Ended game as part of makeshift back three Photo: Graham Hunt
8. Andre Dozzell 5
Fought against the tide as visitors ran amok in first half. Excellent saving tackle on Anis Mehmeti after 11 minutes and ratted around the midfield battleground. Cross almost drew Pompey level after restart, but yellow card means a suspension. Photo: Graham Hunt
