5. Regan Poole - 7
Charlton didn’t do a lot to really test the Pompey backline in the first period. However, the defender rose to the occasion late on following the Addicks’ barrage as they went in search for an equaliser. Headed everything clear and aerially dominant. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

6. Zak Swanson - 7
After a tame start to proceedings, the left-back did begin to grow into the contest midway through the first half and looked bright to advance down Charlton’s right-hand side. Defensively strong but squandered Pompey’s best chance of the game, firing over from close range. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

7. Marlon Pack - 7
Recalled back into the starting XI and looked strong in the engine room. A few moans and groans from the stands with his passing, but was the strongest in possession for the Blues and always looking to open up the play. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

8. Andre Dozzell - 6
Fairly anonymous display from the reliable midfielder, who is always looking to get on the ball and start an attack. That wasn’t particularly the case this evening from Dozzell, who was often sloppy in possession. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
