RECAP the action as Portsmouth fall to defeat against Bristol City

Pompey are back in Championship action and back on the road today as they face Bristol City.

The Blues will be looking to continue their solid start to the new campaign and make the trip to Ashton Gate off the back of a a classy 3-1 triumph over Lincoln City last week.

John Mousinho has delved into the market since the Sincil Bank success, recruiting defensive midfielder Iyad Mohamed from Portuguese outfit Casa Pia.

Bristol City, meanwhile, have had a tough start to the new season and have failed to pick up a victory in their opening three matches under head coach Michael Skubala, who was appointed earlier this summer.

We’ll have build-up and team news before live updates when the action gets underway from 3pm at Ashton Gate.
