51 brilliant photos of elated Portsmouth faithful celebrating Millwall triumph at Fratton Park

Pompey’s impressive run of form continued on Saturday when they secured a 2-1 win over Millwall.

Despite Jenson Metcalfe capitalising on a costly Nicolas Schmid error to give the Lions the lead in the opening stages, the Blues responded quickly with Lyndon Dykes netting in his own goal to level.

But there was to be a late winner at a rain-drenched Fratton Park, with Thomas Waddingham, who registered his first outing since the opening day, stealing the points for John Mousinho’s troops.

Although the south coast was battered by Storm Boelo on Saturday afternoon, the Fratton faithful rocked up in their numbers, with 20,476 packed into PO4.
