Was thrown into the heat of the south-coast derby and handle the test impressively with a display which helped earn a decent return. Pompey fans will appreciate that, but looked more uncomfortable against Sheffield Wednesday. Photo: Stephen Flynn

Fratton homecoming has yet to spark to life, no doubt, with Chaplin below the levels he and the rest of us know he's capable of reaching. Was decent enough on debut against Southampton, but moments of creativity haven't been coming. 'Bang average', in his own words so far - but levels of professionalism, talent and probably just caring about Pompey mean things will soon be firing after some adjustments. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

Breakout week before the international break really announced the South Korean winger to the Championship before international break. Two goals and two standout displays against Watford and Middlesbrough showed the Spurs loanee has the end produce to match his energy. | Graham Hunt

Just the two games so far, before being quite literally hamstrung against Norwich. Was at usual high levels on opening day against Oxford before being sidelined. Will add so much to Pompey's attacking threat and energy levels, so important that when he comes back he stays back. Photo: Dan Istitene
