Latest supercomputer predicts final Championship table after huge Portsmouth, Millwall and Wolves wins

Pompey claimed their first victory of the season on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Lincoln City.

Pompey picked up their first victory of the campaign on Saturday afternoon, claiming a 3-1 triumph over Lincoln City.

Despite an opening day defeat to QPR, John Mousinho’s men responded in style at Sincil Bank with a scintillating display against the Championship new-boys.

But, Ebou Adams was able to put the game out of sight for Pompey in the second half when he struck home a brilliant 25-yard effort.

The maximum points move Mousinho’s troops back out of the relegation zone and into 10th in the early-season standings.

There were also big wins for Millwall, Charlton Athletic, Wolves and Blackburn Rovers in another pulsating weekend of Championship football.

Following Pompey’s first win of the campaign, we’ve taken to football statistics website Opta, who have used their performance-based data to predict how the final table could look at the end of the season.

Here’s where the Blues could finish.
