Pompey’s demanding Championship schedule continues this evening as John Mousinho’s men make the trip to Wolves.
The fixture was, of course, postponed on two occasions in September due to fixture congestion outside of the Blues’ control.
This means Mousinho’s troops are in action for the fourth time in 10 days as his depleted ranks travel to the West Midlands for their first Molineux visit in 17 years.
The head coach could be without as many as 11 players tonight after the Blues’ injury crisis worsened on Saturday when Colby Bishop pulled up in the warm up against Norwich City.
While the extent of his knee issue remains uncertain, academy defender Nathaniel Chioma was recalled on Monday, which suggests he could travel to Wolves.
A win could potentially lift Mousinho’s troops into the play-offs and above eighth-placed Wolves, who secured a 2-1 win over Burnley last time out.
Amid Pompey’s ongoing injury crisis, here’s how we think the Blues could line-up at Molineux.

5. CB: Madiodio Dia
What a difference a week makes. Despite some supporter criticism after Southampton, Dia bounced back with commanding performances against Sheffield United and Norwich City. His powerful display at Carrow Road was praised by the travelling Fratton faithful and Mousinho, who is backing the 22-year-old to thrive in the side. | Jason Brown

6. LB: Jayden Meghoma
The Brentford loanee has been in the thick of the action, with Connor Ogilvie still sidelined. Meghoma is well accustomed to frenetic schedules, having played 44 times in all competitions during his season-long stay with Rangers last term. | Jason Brown

7. CM: Marlon Pack
Mousinho admitted the skipper is running himself into the ground to help the Pompey cause at present. Pack will be targeting his ninth successive Championship start this evening after he was brought off with 10 minutes to go at Norwich in order to give him some much-needed respite ahead of the Molineux trip. | Jason Brown

8. CM: Iyad Mohamed
Like Dia, Mohamed shone against Sheffield United and Norwich City next to pack, with his outing at Carrow Road highlighted by the Fratton faithful. A hearty performer in the engine room and is quickly establishing a solid partnership with Pack. | Jason Brown
