RECAP the action as Portsmouth suffer heavy defeat against Sheffield United

Pompey make the long trip to Bramall Lane this evening as they face early relegation rivals Sheffield United.

The Blues will be bidding to an end a miserable curse at the Blades’ home, with their last win coming in 1955.

Indeed, John Mousinho’s men go into today’s fixture on a winning note after seeing off Millwall in impressive style on the weekend.

Meanwhile, Chris Wilder’s side sit four points behind Pompey after a disappointing start to the campaign, which has seen them pick up just 13 points from their opening 16 games.

We’ll have build-up and team news before live updates throughout the evening at Bramall Lane as the Blues look to put more daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.
