Latest: Portsmouth v Millwall pitch report amid heavy rain
An update on the state of Pompey’s pitches ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off against Millwall

Despite substantial rainfall yesterday, the £1.5m pitch laid in the summer is standing up well to the weather, with the new drainage system also working.
Rain has gradually become heavier over this morning, yet there is still no surface water at present and no suggestion of any pitch inspection.
The Blues expect rain to continue throughout their fixture with Millwall, although there are no doubts over the match going ahead.
Pompey have the chance of entering the play-off positions if they can beat Alex Neil’s side this afternoon, with the Blues having lost one of their last seven games.
