Pompey owner Michael Eisner couldn’t hide his disappointment after last night’s defeat to Blackpool.

The Blues surrendered their unbeaten League One away record after falling to an abject 1-0 loss against the Seasiders.

Both teams weren't at their fluent, attacking best but Blackpool took advantage of the rare goalscoring chance they created in the second half when Keshi Anderson fired home.

The reverse was Pompey's first in five league matches and they dropped to sixth in the table.

And that made the result even more frustrating for the Fratton Park chairman.

Eisner wrote on Twitter: ‘Disappointing after playing much better in recent matches. #pompey.’

Pompey return to action when they face high-flying Peterborough United on Saturday.

The Posh face AFC Wimbledon this evening.
