Kenny was at Plough Lane to watch Blues pair Marcus Harness and Ronan Curtis in action in their side’s 3-1 win.

And the 49-year-old would have been impressed with what he saw from the duo as they helped rejuvenate their side’s play-off hopes.

Curtis was on the scoresheet from Harness’ assist for Pompey’s first goal, before he turned provider for Lee Brown’s unlikely double.

Ireland have friendlies against Andorra and Hungary in June, before World Cup qualifying begins against Portugal in September.
