Portsmouth handed attacking boost as John Mousinho makes changes against Sheffield United

The Blues make two changes for the visit of the Blades

Pompey have been boosted by the return of Colby Bishop against Sheffield United.

The striker has recovered from the ankle injury sustained against West Brom and replaces Jacob Brown in John Mousinho’s starting XI.

That represents one of two changes, with John Swift recalled to the side in place of Conor Chaplin, who isn’t included in the 20-man squad.

It’s only a second start since December 13 for summer signing Swift, who has found opportunities hard to come by in recent months.

Elsewhere, Madiodio Dia is included in a Pompey match-day squad for the first time since his deadline day arrival from Norway.

The centre-half replaces Aji Alese, with the Sunderland man not named, despite having made his debut at Preston last weekend in a four-minute cameo.

Pompey: Schmid, Devlin, Poole, Ogilvie, Swanson, Dozzell, Adams, Segecic, Swift, Alli, Bishop.

Subs: Bursik, Williams, Bowat, Dia, Pack, Le Roux, Caballero, Kirk, Brown.
