5. Newcastle United want Wigan's £10m ace
Wigan Athletic’s £10m full-back Antonee Robinson is wanted by Newcastle United. The youngster is expected to leave the Latics this summer after a move to AC Milan fell through in January which could have been worth the eight-figure fee. (Daily Mail)

6. Sunderland takeover update
A new development in the Sunderland takeover arose over the weekend with the club’s co-owner Juan Sartori keen to “find backers” which could lead to a change in share distribution at the club. Stewart Donald currently owns 74 per cent. (Alan Nixon)

7. Maddison drops transfer hint
Sunderland-linked Marcus Maddison has dropped a hint over his desire to return to the club. On social media he posted about “waiting on a phone call that never comes”. Despite coming through at Newcastle United, the ex-Peterborough United ace’s boyhood club is Sunderland.

8. Pompey's Mulgrew blow
Portsmouth have been hit with a transfer blow following the approval of the salary cap on clubs in League One. Kenny Jackett had been keen on ex-Celtic star Charlie Mulgrew, who is still contracted to Blackburn Rovers, but it appears to be unlikely after no progress was made on talks. (The News)
