Portsmouth winger Ronan Curtis fit for Wigan clash - but keeper remains sidelined

Ronan Curtis will be fit for Pompey’s clash against Wigan at Fratton Park on Saturday.

Curtis was substituted in the second half of the Blues’ goalless draw at Rochdale last Sunday, having been on the end of a heavy challenge.

He received treatment from Pompey physio Bobby Bacic before being replaced by Ellis Harrison on 79 minutes.

Curtis was wearing the protective boot as a precaution, however.

He trained this morning and is available for the visit of the Latics as Kenny Jackett’s side aim for a first League One win of the season.

Alex Bass remains Pompey’s only injury concern. He’s still not recovered from the ankle setback he sustained against Stevenage on the opening day of the campaign.
