Matt Casey has extended his loan spell at Bognor.

The Pompey centre-back will remain at Nyewood Lane for another month, having made an eye-catching impact.

The Blues academy graduate has impressed for Jack Pearce’s side, scoring one goal in seven appearances.

With his initial 28-day loan period coming to an end, Bognor have struck an agreement with Pompey to keep for Casey a month longer.

He’s set to to feature in their clash against Bishop's Stortford on Saturday.

A post on the Rocks’ Twitter account read: ‘We're delighted that @Pompey central defender Matt Casey has extended his loan at Nyewood Lane by another month. He'll be in the squad for Saturday's home game in @IsthmianLeague when we host@BSFCTheBlues - come on your Rocks!’

Fratton Park youngsters Bradley Lethbridge and Harry Kavangh are also currently on youth loans at Nyewood Lane.
